Small Projects Pattern Bundle for Rigid Heddle Loom PDF Digital Download
A great way to practice new weaving structures and techniques is to play around with small projects. Not only is the supply commitment low, but they do not take a lot of time and minimize frustration if something goes awry. They also give you a great feeling for the final look and drape of a cloth before you decide on a bigger project. The projects included in this pattern bundle are all rigid-heddle patterns with less than a 20" weaving width required. (Two patterns require less that 10.") There is a set of dishcloths that explore a waffle weave, scrappy mug rugs that explore color, clasped weft and an offset waffle weave variation, a honeycomb book cover (made using handspun yarn) and lastly a cut and sew bento-inspired bag. All of these projects are useful items that would make lovely gifts for others or for yourself. Each pattern also tackles a unique aspect of weaving on a rigid-heddle loom, giving you a wonderful launching point for many projects to come.
